Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, and promote sales and loyalty programs. You will collect credit accounts daily and build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned on deliveries.

The role requires safe driving, strong customer service, and knowledge of inventory systems. You will engage with walk-in customers, upsell products, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• English speaking; Spanish a plus.
• Automotive parts knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
