Job summary

James River Equipment Greensboro is seeking a friendly Parts Sales Specialist to greet customers in person, help identify parts needs, process orders, and support stock and down-orders as requested.

You will join a team at one of our John Deere dealerships and enjoy benefits such as health coverage, a 401k plan, paid time off, and opportunities for leadership and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers and identifying parts needs.
• Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with dealership software and parts/inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify parts needs in person, by phone, and online.
• Process and complete parts orders; coordinate down orders and stock requests.
• Assist with maintaining merchandise displays and participate in cycle counts when scheduled.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help resolve inquiries promptly.

A Day in the Life: Parts Sales Specialist

• Greet customers, collaborate on parts needs in person, by phone, and online by asking questions to identify a solution, process the order, complete the sale


• Place machine down orders and stock orders as requested


• Process parts requests for internal and external customers


• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays and participates in cycle counts and physical inventory when scheduled

Need to Succeed:

• Enjoy being customer-facing, positive attitude, willingness to learn, good communication and excellent attendance


• Attention to detail, problem solving skills, customer service skills and recent computer use with experience in dealership software and parts/inventory systems a plus


• Ability to handle high volume of customer inquiries with timely follow up and not afraid to answer the phone
