Job summary

TRU LAND Equipment is seeking a motivated Parts Counter Associate to serve customers at the counter, on the phone, and to support the service department with timely parts information. You will drive sales, promote parts promotions, and ensure accurate processing of orders for both in-store and online channels.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work extended hours or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Agriculture degree preferred.
• 1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience.
• Strong customer interaction and professional image.
• Basic understanding of the selling process.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Ability to use a handheld barcode scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift operation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter, on the phone, and internally.
• Maintain a positive, professional relationship with peers and management, with emphasis on teamwork and customer service.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Engage with and know the corporate parts promotions.
• Recommend additional related parts or accessories.
• Communicate and monitor Parts Department processes for customer satisfaction.
• Process orders accurately for in-store and online; communicate pickup/delivery status.
• Locate and obtain merchandise; coordinate with Inventory Team when not stocked.
• Maintain inventory integrity with cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Keep showroom displays clean and orderly; assist with merchandising.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
