Job summary

Sonsray Inc. in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Parts Counter Representative for a full-time, on-site role with an hourly salary range of $22–$27, depending on experience.

You will support technicians and customers by providing fast, accurate parts service, managing orders, inventory, and shipping/receiving activities. Your duties include counter sales, parts handling, inventory counts, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of parts experience in the Diesel or Transportation industry preferred.
• Must be 21+ years of age with a valid Driver’s License.
• Spanish Speaker highly preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift to load and unload pallets and when otherwise necessary.
• Ability to operate a large pickup truck (¾-ton) with liftgate.
• Willingness to occasionally travel to existing customers and/or prospective client locations.
• Compliance with all auto safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
• Adherence to all road signs and operation of vehicles within their limits and weather conditions during travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive parts service to mechanics and customers, including answering calls, conducting counter sales, and delivering parts.
• Manage the full lifecycle of parts orders, from receiving, filling, packaging, and shipping to maintaining and stocking inventory and performing physical counts.
• Coordinate the receipt and staging of units for installation and contribute to all related procedures and processes.
• Accurately record sales and delivery information.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards within the parts department.
• Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and other necessary tasks.
• Occasionally travel to customer and prospective client locations, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safe vehicle operation.
• Perform basic warehouse upkeep, including returning unused/returned parts to proper locations.
• Maintain delivery vehicle—routine checks, cleanliness, and organization.
• Comply with all auto safety rules and regulations during work assignments.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management to support dealership objectives.

Job Summary
