Company Wrench is seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to support parts functions, identify parts via manuals, assist customers and technicians, and manage ordering, invoicing, shipping, and receiving. The role involves researching materials, maintaining systems, and ensuring accurate records.

You will work with various vendors, maintain filing and document retention, and uphold professional communication across phone and email channels. This position offers growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid parts department operation knowledge.
• Some inventory management training in related fields.
• A solid understanding of the financial aspects of the parts department.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage on parts job functions as required.
• Use parts manuals to identify parts.
• Provide parts lookup and sales assistance to customers and technicians.
• Perform parts ordering, invoicing, shipping and receiving for customers and technicians.
• Research and acquire materials from outside vendors.
• Maintain knowledge of computer systems and methods for all parts functions.
• Familiarize with all forms and documents and meet information requirements.
• Keep current knowledge of changes in manuals or computer procedures.
• Maintain document retention and filing systems.
• Reconcile reports, invoices and purchase orders.
• Operate office equipment used in the parts department.
• Maintain maintenance logs for office equipment.
• Exhibit tact and etiquette on phone and electronic communications.
