Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a Parts Coordinator in Columbus, GA to provide an exceptional customer experience by managing ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning auto body parts for each repair order.

You will verify parts accuracy, work with vendors, enter invoices into the MIS, track parts by RO number, and support production schedules while adhering to the WOW operating plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3+ years experience with automotive parts; body parts a bonus.
• Customer service oriented with strong organization under pressure.
• I-CAR registration progress toward Gold Class is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Communicate customer requests to team members.
• Order and receive parts via vendors per repair orders; verify quality and quantity.
• Distribute parts to the shop in line with production schedules.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track parts by RO number; store with vehicles/ repairs.
• Notify required staff of parts price changes (PPI).
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS; monitor parts, materials, vendors.
• Reconcile vendor invoice history daily (e.g., 043 Report).
• Post invoices and credits timely; ensure negotiated discounts.
