Job summary

All Aviation Jobs in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized inventory specialist to join our growing team. You will maintain accurate inventory records using IMS/ERP, receive and log incoming parts, and manage obsolete stock while supporting job costing.

This hands-on role requires 2+ years in inventory control, proficiency with NetSuite or SAP, and strong Excel skills. You will coordinate with vendors, log shipments, and assist with shipping engines via FedEx.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or parts management.
• Proficiency with inventory management software, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of how inventory affects job costing and profit margins.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and safely operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control & Management
• Maintain accurate inventory records using IMS / ERP software.
• Receive, inspect, tag, and properly store incoming parts and materials.
• Identify, track, and manage obsolete, expired, or slow-moving inventory.
• Job Costing & Financial Tracking
• Allocate parts and materials to specific jobs.
• Collaborate with managers and technicians to ensure all parts used on a job are properly logged.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and packing slips before submitting them to accounts payable.
• Purchasing & Supplier Relations
• Source parts and materials from approved vendors, balancing quality, speed, and cost.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, proactively resolving any delays.
• Maintain and build relationships with suppliers.
• Shipping & Receiving
• Assist with shipping of individual parts as well as finished engines through FedEx parcel and Freight channels. Daily receiving responsibilities to include physical receiving and receiving within the ERP software.

• Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of how inventory affects job costing and profit margins.
• Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple moving parts (literally and figuratively) in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
