Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Parts Advisor at our Coon Rapids location to assist customers and service technicians in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. This onsite role supports the service department and helps maintain high customer satisfaction.

You'll bring experience with automotive parts, math proficiency, and familiarity with parts management software to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries. 2+ years' experience preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform calculations for inventory, payments and invoices.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record as required by state law.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in automotive parts or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating parts.
• Provide accurate information on parts availability, pricing and delivery times.
• Process orders and handle transactions efficiently.

Job Description

As a Parts Advisor, you will assist customers and service technicians in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Parts Advisor reports to the Parts Manager and is an onsite role.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts and accessories.
• Provide accurate information on parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
• Process orders and handle transactions.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts inventory.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure accurate parts delivery.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.

What You'll Bring

• Mathematics – calculations of inventory, payments and invoices.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
• We prefer 2 or more years of previous experience in automotive parts or a related field.
• Proficiency in using computer software for parts management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Total Rewards

Salary range is from $,47,400 - 57,200 a year

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Commission(s) off: Department Gross, Individual Gross. Bonuses based on: Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
