Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Anchorage is seeking a Parts Advisor to provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers, support the Service Team, and manage parts inventory. You will greet customers and vendors, process payments, and ensure accurate records while maintaining a clean and organized counter and stockroom.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
• Previous parts advisor experience preferred.
• Understand basic automotive components and systems.
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to build successful relationships with customers.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers.
• Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain clean appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts with Service Team for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and part returns as necessary.
