Job summary

TriStar JCB in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Parts Advisor to manage inventory, process parts orders, and assist customers at the parts counter. You will utilize a DMS system to track parts, coordinate with vendors, and ensure accurate stock levels while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• Experience handling parts orders and inventory.
• Familiarity with DMS or parts inventory systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.

Responsibilities

• Order parts from vendors, track arrivals, and manage returns.
• Handle customer orders and maintain parts inventory.
• Use DMS for inventory and parts information.
• Serve counter customers at the parts counter.
• Upsell by suggesting additional related items to customers.
• Communicate customer relationship issues to the General Service Manager.
• Enter all parts sales orders daily and monitor backorders and credits.
• Inspect parts for damage, and ensure proper stock and organization.
