Job summary

TriStar JCB in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a full-time Parts Delivery Driver to pick up and transport parts within the service area, support shipping/receiving, and help maintain equipment and logs. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Purpose

Drives a company vehicle within the assigned area to pick up or transport parts as assigned. Requires skill in planning, organizing and scheduling parts pick-up and delivery requirements.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Pick-up and deliver parts as assigned, in the most efficient manner.
• Assists the shipping and receiving clerk in checking in and stocking parts.
• Ensures proper safety, care, and maintenance of company vehicles assigned to the Parts Department.
• Maintains the fuel and maintenance log.
• May be required to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid driver's license
• General knowledge of greater Nashville area.
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Conditions

• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
