Allen Turner Automotive is seeking a detail‑oriented Parts Advisor to join our Chevrolet‑Cadillac dealership in Auburn, AL. You will help customers, identify the correct parts, and support technicians and service advisors while maintaining accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems or inventory software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers, technicians, and service advisors in identifying the correct parts and accessories.
• Looking up parts using electronic catalogs and dealership inventory systems.
• Processing parts orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving, unpacking, labeling, stocking, and organizing incoming parts shipments.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and clean, organized storage areas.
• Communicating with vendors regarding parts availability, delivery times, and special orders.
• Accurately documenting parts transactions using the dealership management system (DMS).
• Supporting the service and sales departments by ensuring parts are available when needed.
• Maintaining current knowledge of parts inventory, pricing, and manufacturer updates.
• Assisting with inventory counts and stocking procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support department and dealership operations.
