Job summary

Allen Turner Chevrolet in Crestview, FL is seeking a hands-on Parts Manager to lead daily Parts Department operations. You will manage inventory, coach a team, and collaborate with the Service Department to ensure timely parts availability. GM parts experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Dealership parts experience, GM experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control, parts pricing, and department profitability.
• Experience with dealership management systems, electronic parts catalogs, and inventory reporting.
• Ability to coach employees, prioritize work, and solve problems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage department staffing, workflow, and daily operations.
• Train, coach, and supervise parts employees.
• Oversee inventory ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, and special orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce aging and obsolete stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate physical counts.
• Review sales, gross profit, expenses, and department goals.
• Monitor parts pricing and margins.
• Work with the Service Department to ensure timely parts availability and resolve delays.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturer representatives.
• Ensure accurate parts transactions and manufacturer return documentation.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain an organized department and reinforce safe work practices.
