Job summary

Crater Lake Ford is hiring a Parts Advisor to join our team in Medford, Indiana. The role includes answering calls, assisting customers, and coordinating parts for repairs with our service team.

Responsibilities include ordering parts, creating invoices, and maintaining accurate inventory while delivering excellent customer service. This is a commission-based position with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible Saturday rotations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with dealership management systems, preferably CDK.
• Sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Mathematics – calculations of inventory, payments and invoices.

• Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with ITC standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person or email.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.
• Interact with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
• Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders.
• Takes inventory, maintains records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
