Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena is hiring a Parts Advisor to support the Service Team by coordinating parts for repairs, receiving and stocking inventory, and handling payments and returns. The role requires 1+ year in automotive or dealership settings and basic automotive knowledge.

You will maintain a clean work area, greet customers, and ensure parts are available when needed, while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the automotive field or in a dealership environment.
• Understand basic automotive components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer request.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts so they are available when needed.
• Take inventory and maintain records of goods received with perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns.
