Tampa Honda, part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor with automotive knowledge and a passion for helping customers. If you value accuracy, clear communication, and supporting both customers and technicians, you’ll thrive here.

You’ll provide fast, accurate parts support for retail customers and the Service Department, handle inquiries, stock checks, order processing, inventory control, invoicing, returns, and ensure a clean counter and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic math skills for inventory and invoicing.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction: answer phones, greet customers, and communicate professionally.
• Order and sales support: assist with parts inquiries, stock checks, and order processing.
• Service department coordination: work with technicians to supply correct parts for repairs.
• Inventory and receiving: receive, inspect, store, and track parts; maintain inventory.
• Invoicing and payment: create accurate invoices, process payments, and manage credits.
• Returns and warranty: handle core returns and warranty parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and stockroom.

What You'll Do

Provide fast, accurate, customer-focused parts support for retail customers and the Service Department.

• Customer Interaction - Answer phones, greet customers, and communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person
• Order & Sales Support - Assist with parts inquiries, stock checks, and order processing following ITC/ICC standards
• Service Department Coordination - Work closely with technicians to supply correct parts for repairs
• Inventory & Receiving - Receive, inspect, unpack, store, and track parts; maintain perpetual inventory
• Invoicing & Payment - Create accurate ADP invoices, process payments, and handle credits
• Returns & Warranty - Manage core returns, warranty parts, and general returns
• Work Area Standards - Maintain a clean, organized counter and stockroom
