Job summary

Boston Public Schools seeks a Partnerships Coordinator at Greater Egleston High School to expand the Leave to Learn program and grow partnerships that support student opportunities beyond the classroom.

You will oversee grants, applications and data, lead field trips and partner engagement, and collaborate with counselors and family liaisons to build college and career pathways for students in grades 9-12.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of development-related experience in an educational setting.
  • Minimum three years' experience working with urban youth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Google applications including Google Classroom.
  • Growth mindset and openness to feedback.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse youth.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with staff, families, and partners.
  • Must have US work authorization by first day.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand 'Leave to Learn' programming.
  • Expand number of school partnerships.
  • Manage grants, applications, and data related to partnerships.
  • Lead student-focused 'Leave to Learn' programming.
  • Coordinate field trips, workshops, college visits, guest speakers.
  • Manage external partnerships and student enrollment.
  • Oversee teacher placement and student internship placements.
  • Coordinate substitution coverage and other logistics.
  • Lead exhibitions and CT pathways.
  • Build systems with Restorative Culture Team to protect instructional time.
  • Run weekly advisory for college and career readiness.
  • Model professional behavior and be visible.
  • Work with Family Liaison and School Counselor.
  • Develop relationships with Early College Partners.
  • Support dual enrollment and pathway programming.
  • Arrange college experiences.
