Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking a Director to lead daily operations, facilities management, and student support initiatives at Greater Egleston. You will integrate academic advancement with relational accountability and external partnerships to advance college and career readiness.

The role reports to the Head of School and requires strong collaboration with district staff, families, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• 3–5 years experience in urban school system with a diverse student body.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders including staff, families and community partners.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and facilities management across the school.
• Manage daily operations and facilities issues with district staff.
• Monitor attendance and supervise schedules and staff during arrival, transitions, lunch and dismissal.
• Serve as liaison for safety protocols, emergency planning, and drills.
• Support event planning and logistics for school events and programs.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and transitions for new students.
• Lead non-instructional operational decisions as a core administrative team member.
• Collaborate on MTSS with the MTSS Coordinator and implement interventions.
• Supervise School Counselors and student support staff; analyze data to identify needs.
• Collaborate with partners to develop off-campus learning experiences.
