Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Partner Technology Solutions Engineer to lead technical engagements with partners, guiding them through the full integration lifecycle from architecture to publication on the Datadog Marketplace.

You will work with external developers, solving complex issues and contributing to an expanding ecosystem. The role blends deep technical troubleshooting with high-level consulting in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical role (Support Eng, Solutions Architect, or Software Development).
• Proficient in Python or Go.
• Familiar with observability (Metrics, Logs, Traces) and OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for partners, advising on OAuth flows, log pipelines, OpenTelemetry, and deployment configurations.
• Perform architectural assessments and code reviews for partner integrations to meet our Quality Rubric.
• Resolve complex partner challenges via Zendesk, Slack, and dedicated technical consultations.
• Identify friction points in the IDP and collaborate with Product/Engineering to improve developer experience.
• Maintain public docs and internal tracking (JIRA) for transparency and scale.
