Job summary

Akamai's North America Presales team is expanding to include a Partner Solutions Engineer II who will help partners win with trusted, technical guidance and tailored solutions across our Global Channels program.

You will build relationships with partner sales leaders, enable channel partners to resell Akamai's strategic products, and translate market needs into actionable resources. A CS/Engineering degree and 5+ years in customer-facing technical sales or presales are required.

Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, related field or its equivalent.
Experience in customer-facing technical channel sales or presales.
Demonstrate understanding of the internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL).

Responsibilities

Develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical sales leaders.
Support channel sales to grow topline revenue through channel partners nationally and regionally.
Enable our focused partners to resell and service Akamai's strategic products.
Customize resources such as sales plays, market intelligence and use cases to drive partner sourced opportunities.
Represent the needs of partners with product teams, marketing, services and support to drive partner success.
