You will build trusted relationships, enable channel partners to resell and service Akamai's products, and collaborate with product/marketing to drive partner success, with emphasis on internet security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant presales or customer-facing technical channel sales experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL.
• Customer advocate with ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Team player who can collaborate and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders.
• Support channel sales to grow topline revenue nationally and regionally.
• Enable partners to resell and service Akamai's products.
• Customize sales plays, market intel, and use cases to drive opportunities.
• Represent partner needs with product, marketing, services and support teams.
