Job summary

BILL is hiring a Principal Partner Solution Engineer to drive integration solutions in the Partner Embed Platform. You will work closely with partners to discover needs, design architectures, and implement seamless APIs across Payments, AP, AR, and Spend/Expense management.

This role emphasizes collaboration with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will lead workshops, deliver technical docs, and guide integration strategies while ensuring security, scalability, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technical or management consulting or system integration.
• Experience delivering end-to-end architectures in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience in professional services with external clients and partners.
• Strong client-facing experience with requirements gathering and presentations.
• Expertise in API integration and management (REST/SOAP) with custom APIs.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and middleware.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages and front-end technologies.
• Experience with SaaS, microservices, and data integration.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and fintech standards.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence technical discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Lead technical and deep dive workshops with partners, delivering technical documentation and training.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture sessions to ensure quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, delivering quality results within scope, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate between cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and IT teams.
