Job summary

Octopus Energy Group in Houston is hiring a Partner Operations Specialist to scale the partner network and onboarding workflows. You will coordinate onboarding, rate sheets, and API integrations with Product and Engineering, while ensuring accurate commission logic and timely payouts.

You will analyze enrollment conversions, partner queries, and data quality, partnering with Data and Retail Ops to streamline processes and deliver automated reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
• Experience working with Databricks platform and notebooks.
• Familiarity with Texas ERCOT market beneficial.
• Excellent communication and partner-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own partner onboarding & setup: Manage end-to-end onboarding for brokers, aggregators and digital partners; coordinate rate sheets and API onboarding with Product/Engineering.
• Provide responsive partner support: Serve as primary operations contact for commercial partners; address integration queries and discrepancies.
• Define & audit commission logic: Translate deal structures into logic for data engineering; audit monthly payout runs.
• Drive conversion analytics: Build and maintain daily conversion reports and dashboards to track funnel health and enrollment drops.
• Drive the internal feedback loop: Channel partner insights and bugs to Product, Data, and Engineering teams to refine tools.
• Unstick enrollment pipelines: Troubleshoot root causes of stuck orders with Retail Operations; optimize customer flow to active supply.
• Automate documentation & reporting: Deliver automated weekly/monthly enrollment, conversion, and commission statements.
