Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Partner Applied AI Engineer to lead technical engagements with system integrators and joint customers. You will help identify high-value GenAI use cases, enable partners through hands-on prototype work and guidance, and ensure delivery of measurable business value with OpenAI-powered solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Applied Research, and Product teams, reporting to the Head of Solutions Architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical consulting or equivalent experience with global organizations.
• Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ideally via SI.
• Proficiency with Python or JavaScript and GenAI/ML implementations.

Responsibilities

• Embed with GSIs/RSIs and boutique SIs as technical lead and partner.
• Identify high-value GenAI use cases and backlogs for AI roadmaps.
• Build hands-on prototypes or deliver strategic guidance to accelerate value.
• Manage relationships with SI and customer stakeholders for deployment and scale.
• Codify solution packages and architectural patterns for faster deployments.
• Lead technical support during initial projects and mentor SI teams.
• Scale the Partner Solutions Architect function with knowledge sharing.
• Provide feedback to Product and Research teams based on deployments.
