Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) seeks a part-time Assistant Club Director at the Westwood Club in Elyria, OH. The role focuses on assisting with daily operations, supervising staff, and coordinating youth programming to deliver an engaging club experience.

Required is a four-year degree and experience in youth programming or club settings; background checks and CPR may be required. Schedule runs Monday–Friday, 1 pm–6 pm with additional summer shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in related field preferred.
• 1 year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
• Strong supervision, facilities management and recruitment experience.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations at the Westwood Club site.
• Support program staff, supervise personnel and guide youth services.
• Participate in recruiting, selecting and managing program staff.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks.
• Build relationships with local partners and community leaders.
