Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) seeks a PT Assistant Club Director to help with daily operations at the Elmwood Club in Garfield Heights, OH. The ACD reports to the Club Director and works with staff and volunteers to deliver a high-quality club experience.

The position is part-time (25 hours/week), with typical after-school hours and summer shifts. Requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience and background check clearance.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in related field (preferred).
• 1 year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
• Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision and staff management.
• Effective communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise & motivate staff.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure programs & services align with quality standards.
• Promote and recruit student membership for the Club.
• Assist Director with recruiting and supervising program staff.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks.
• Foster positive relationships with community partners and schools.
• Maintain safe, clean facilities for daily programming.
• Provide guidance and act as a role model.
