Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is urgently hiring a Part Time Assistant Club Director for the Westwood Club in Elyria, OH. The role supports after-school youth programs, reports to the Club Director, and leads in their absence.

The position emphasizes program management, staff supervision, and community engagement to deliver an outstanding club experience. The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree in a related field, at least 1 year of BGCA-like experience, and possesses strong

Qualifications

• Four year degree in related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization with youth.
• Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and recruitment.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.
• Valid State Driver's License and CPR certification required or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure programs & services align with quality standards.
• Promote and recruit student membership for the Club.
• Assist Club Director with recruiting and managing program staff.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks at the site.
• Foster relationships with local businesses, schools, officials and the community.
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-kept Club facilities for daily programming.
• Provide guidance and act as a role model for youth and staff.
