Job summary

CESA 6 is seeking a Career Readiness Consultant to lead youth apprenticeship programming across schools, industry partners, and communities in Wisconsin. You will design, implement, and evaluate programs that connect students with real-world opportunities and build sustainable partnerships.

The role emphasizes collaboration, program management, mentorship, and thoughtful engagement with diverse stakeholders, with LTE, non-benefited, approximately 10-15 hours weekly as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience developing and managing youth apprenticeship programs with educational institutions and industry partners.
• Strong knowledge of youth development, CTE, and workforce development strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement youth apprenticeship programs with partners.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, industry partners, and government agencies.
• Recruit eligible youth through outreach, information sessions, and applications.
• Develop curriculum aligned with industry standards.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of youth apprenticeship programs.
• Establish mentorship networks and provide apprentice support.
• Implement evaluation frameworks and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Stay informed on local/state/national policies affecting youth apprenticeships.
• Pursue professional development and networking opportunities.
