Job summary

CESA 6 is seeking IYS Youth Mentors to work one on one with youth across multiple sites in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. You will guide them through behavioral, social, and emotional challenges and provide respite and mentorship under agency policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Additional education is preferred.
• Prior experience working with youth and/or emotional behavioral disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services and supervision to clients according to each client's individualized service plan.
• Work one-on-one with clients to help resolve personal, social, and emotional issues, fostering positive behavioral and social growth.
• Document all services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Safely manage crisis situations to ensure the safety of the client and others.
• Follow transportation and vehicle policies, ensuring safe transport of clients.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program improvement.
