Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have forklift operator certification.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training (levels 1 and 2).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in the yard.
• Load/unload products safely and accurately.
• Answer questions about products for customers.
• Report customer concerns to management promptly.
• Move and stock materials in yard, warehouse, and store interior.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks per guidelines.
• Keep lumberyard and warehouses clean and organized.
• Verify tickets match loaded merchandise.
• Protect exposed materials from weather when needed.
• Cut lumber and related materials as requested.
• Operate a forklift and attend trainings/meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
