Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 of positional training.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products safely for customers, vendors, and company vehicles.
• Answer customer questions about products.
• Report customer issues to management promptly.
• Move, stock, and rearrange building materials in yard and store areas.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks.
• Keep lumberyard and warehouses clean and organized.
