Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• On-the-job training completion; levels 1 and 2 of positional training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products into customers, vendors and company vehicles safely and accurately.
• Respond to customer questions regarding products.
• Inform management of customer complaints or requests promptly.
• Move, stock, and rearrange building materials in yard and warehouse.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks per company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in lumberyard and warehouses.
• Verify tickets match loaded merchandise.
• Cover exposed materials to prevent weather damage.
• Cut lumber and related materials as requested by customers.
• Operate a forklift.
• Attend store meetings and training sessions.
