Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time Chaplain to serve employees and their families across client sites. The role focuses on confidential pastoral care, spiritual support, and compassionate counseling in workplace settings.

Chaplains visit worksites weekly, offer crisis and bereavement support, and coordinate with client leadership to provide ministry services. A Christian lifestyle and biblically-based faith are essential to carry out duties in alignment with MCHAP's values.

Qualifications

• Must work in an interfaith setting with sensitivity and discretion.
• Possess spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian values.
• Ability to visit worksites and provide confidential pastoral support.
• Strong communication and listening skills for employees and families.

Responsibilities

• Visit company worksites regularly to build trust and provide pastoral care.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and provide follow-up support.
• Support employees immediately after events like death or injury.
• Coordinate with leadership and clients to deliver chaplain services.
