Job summary

University of Maryland is seeking a Workday Financial Aid Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the transition to the Workday Student Financial Aid module. This is a part-time Contingent II position (up to 20 hours).

The SME will document and test financial aid processes, ensure compliance with federal/state requirements, and partner with the Office of Student Financial Aid and campus teams to enable successful adoption of Workday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of business analysis principles and system support practices.
• Ability to analyze data, processes, and system functionality.
• Experience with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, or integrations.
• Excellent written and oral communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Document and communicate business processes for Workday transition.
• Test and validate configurations, data, and processes.
• Collaborate with Office of Student Financial Aid and campus partners to manage change to Workday.
• Enable end-users through training and documentation.
