Job summary

Workday, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Student Financial Aid Consultant to drive successful implementations of Workday's Student solution with a focus on Financial Aid and potential support for Student Financials.

You will work with higher education clients to understand challenges, goals, and regulatory requirements related to financial aid packaging and disbursement, as well as tuition billing.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday, Banner, PeopleSoft or similar Financial Aid/Student Information Systems.
• Functional leadership experience in Financial Aid operations and compliance.
• Strong technical aptitude beyond policy knowledge, including testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and willingness to apply them to workflows.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with touchpoints between Financial Aid, Student Financials, and other Workday areas.
• Gather client requirements related to financial aid packaging, awarding, and disbursement.
• Configure Workday to improve user, student, and administrator experiences.
• Demonstrate configurations through prototype systems.
• Assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
• Support integrations between Workday and third‑party/ custom solutions.
• Apply Workday Implementation Methodology on engagements.
• Convert legacy data into Workday Financial Aid/Student Financials.
• Plan activities with Engagement Manager and track progress.
• Share product skills during update trainings and events.
