Job summary

Cabarrus County Schools seeks a Part-Time Project Coordinator to lead the THRIVE Initiative and Lifestyle Medicine programming. This grant-funded role focuses on employee wellness, helping create a culture of health, retention, and workplace satisfaction.

The coordinator will collaborate with district leaders, staff, health partners, and community stakeholders to implement evidence-based strategies, manage data, and support continuous improvement within a 20-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or RN required
• Experience coordinating projects, programs, initiatives, or events preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills essential
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools required
• Ability to analyze information, maintain records, and prepare reports

Responsibilities

• Serve as district lead for THRIVE and Lifestyle Medicine staff wellness initiatives.
• Coordinate district wellness activities, events, campaigns, and employee engagement.
• Facilitate communication between Cabarrus County Schools and community wellness partners.
• Support work of district and community steering committees on employee well-being.
• Develop annual implementation plans and project timelines; maintain documentation.
