Job summary

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a Wellness Coach III at the Wade Walker Family YMCA in Stone Mountain, GA. This part-time role supports members through personalized wellness guidance, supervision of the wellness floor, and collaboration with the Wellness Director to ensure high-quality program delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, completing required trainings (Y-USA certifications, BLS), and managing member caseload while upholding safety guidelines and YMCA values.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold and maintain a current National Personal Training certification from ACSM/ACE/AFAA or other recognized bodies.
• Must obtain/maintain access to Y-Exchange, YLINK, and Workday within 60 days of hire.
• Must possess current Basic Life Support certification and renewals.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wellness center floor and assist members while enforcing policies.
• Clean, maintain, and inspect equipment; report repairs as needed.
• Promote and ensure smooth operation of wellness programs and activities.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings; complete Coach Approach within 60 days.
• Maintain incident/accident reporting and manage member caseload per established guidelines.
