Job summary

The Dover YMCA is hiring Part-Time Welcome Desk Associates with evening and weekend availability. You will greet members, assist with check-ins, answer questions, and provide outstanding customer service. This role supports the Y’s mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

You will promote memberships and programs while keeping a welcoming, respectful atmosphere. You’ll need a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to multi-task and work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Six months experience in service-oriented or sales environment.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish ability is a plus.
• CPR, first aid and AED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with check-ins and member scans.
• Sell memberships and programs; promote Y offerings.
• Answer questions and direct to the correct department.
• Maintain clean, welcoming desk and proper appearance.
• Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.
