Job summary

Ohio History Connection is seeking a Visitor Operations Associate to support visitor services at the Ohio History Center and Ohio Village in Columbus, OH. The role is part-time and intermittent, with compensation of $20.00 per hour, and hours vary by event and operational needs.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, guiding exhibit spaces, handling admissions and memberships, and assisting with event setups, while maintaining a welcoming, informative environment for guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and orient them to exhibits and spaces.
• Direct event setups and teardowns as needed.
• Sell merchandise, admissions, memberships, and food items.
• Provide information about exhibitions, programs and membership benefits.
• Assist with school group orientations and logistics.
• Support maintenance of museum interactives and displays.
• Coordinate volunteers and serve as day-of contact.
• Assist with emergency procedures when necessary.
