Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Part-Time team member to support patient experiences when selecting eyewear and other products. You will help establish the practice as the premier destination for vision needs within the community.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and efficient POS operations, with a focus on timely service and accuracy in transactions. Prior eyecare or sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Effective selling skills
• Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, or other software applications
• Embraces new technology and change
• Strong communicator and listener

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients with a warm welcome and provides urgent service to meet needs.
• Explores patient needs and links to practice offerings, including eye exams.
• Demonstrates superior product knowledge and explains features/benefits using appropriate tools.
• Operates the point-of-sale system and processes sales transactions following procedures.
• Maintains display and inventory, ensures cleanliness and organization, and reports safety opportunities.
