Thrive Manchaca is seeking a Veterinary Customer Service Representative for a part-time role, offering 2-3 shifts per week and occasional Saturdays. You will greet clients, schedule appointments, manage check-in and billing, and support the veterinary team in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; customer service experience required.
• Veterinary or animal healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, accuracy, empathy, and client service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, answer and route multi-line phone calls with empathy and professionalism.
• Schedule appointments, provide pre-visit instructions, and monitor schedules/wait times.
• Manage patient check-in and discharge, relay veterinary team instructions, and triage urgent cases.
• Enter charges and reminders, complete follow-up communication, and explain invoices.
• Process payments and complete daily financial and end-of-day reporting.
• Keep reception and exam areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow hospital policies and participate in required training.
