Job summary

Paycom is hiring a part-time Building Maintenance technician at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center in Duluth, MN. You will handle the general care and upkeep of buildings, facilities, machinery, equipment and grounds, ensuring readiness for events.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, and flexibility around event-driven schedules. A high school diploma is required; forklift experience and a Class C driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review event sheets and ensure areas are set up properly for events.
• Maintain lawn and grounds; perform basic landscaping tasks.
• Repair parking lots/sidewalks with asphalt or concrete materials.
• Perform snow removal and salting for safety during events.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing and electrical systems.
• Operate and maintain equipment; complete logs and checklists.
