Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to keep venue facilities up to standard during events and regular hours. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and equipment maintenance, plus interaction with clients and contractors as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years maintenance experience, and ability to read blueprints; forklift cert is a plus. Works on-site at Wilmington Convention Center with flexible hours including events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of general repair and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical/lighting systems.
• Trade certificates preferred; forklift cert preferred or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to work long hours during events.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs for events and daily operations.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Assist with fire alarm systems, HVAC servicing, and lighting.
• Complete work orders and report to Director of Operations.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure safety compliance.
