Job summary

Palmas Restaurant Group at Walt Disney World is hiring a Server for Maya Grill Restaurant at Coronado Springs. You will guide guests through the dining experience, explain menu items, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced, guest‑facing role.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of serving experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. Florida food safety certification and knowledge of fine dining are a plus; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of restaurant serving experience.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and beverages a plus.
• Must have or be able to obtain a State of Florida Food Safety Certificate
• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida Responsible Vendors Certificate
• Must be well versed in food safety and alcohol service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned table section for guest arrival.
• Explain all food and beverage items on the menus.
• Explain any featured items or specials.
• Greet guests in a timely fashion and guide them through the dining experience.
• Suggestively sell and upsell menu items as appropriate.
• Ring guest orders accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver each course to guests in a timely fashion.
• Follow proper food safety procedures at all times.
