Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker I in Westfield, NJ. You will provide a full range of banking services to retail customers, handling both transactional and non-transactional tasks while contributing to branch goals.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends. Training is provided, with benefits including PTO, sick time, ESOP, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience required.
• Interpersonal, time management, organizational and PC skills a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Processes all banking transactions through on-line terminals.
• Opens new deposit and checking accounts and explains products to customers.
• Cross-sells products and services and assists other departments as needed.
• Maintains accurate customer and account records and completes end-of-day procedures.
