Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo seeks a compassionate and energetic Unit Clerk to provide desk coverage, answer the Health Center telephone, order and restock supplies, schedule appointments and perform clerical duties as assigned. This part-time role offers benefits, a great staff-resident ratio, and teamwork with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Must have pleasant personality; be flexible and able to work with all personalities.
• Must have good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and coordinate messages, using two-way radio and/or pager systems, when necessary, in a polite positive manner.
• Assures resident safety.
• Keep nurse’s stations clean, orderly and supplied with forms in both the Health Center as well as the Rehab Center.

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individualto join our skilled nursing team as a Unit Clerk that is responsible for desk coverage, answering the Health Center telephone, ordering, unpacking and restocking supplies when needed, scheduling appointments and other clerical duties as assigned by supervisor.
