Job summary

Friendship Village in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team on a part-time second shift 2:30p–10:30p. You will assist residents with daily living tasks and support licensed staff, with starting pay of $16.00 per hour and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Prior geriatric care experience preferred.

• Gives prompt assistance to nursing staff in non-professional duties under RN/LPN supervision.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Caregiver:

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
