Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team. This part-time first shift (6:30a-2:30p) role assists licensed nursing staff with routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.

We offer flexible scheduling, benefits, and a fun work environment, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. DailyPay available to allow you to get paid the same day. Vaccination status may be requested. EEO Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Prior geriatric care experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, document care, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Good assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Provide prompt assistance to nursing staff in non-professional duties under RN/LPN supervision.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens.

• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
