Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our Assisted Living team. This part-time second shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) position supports licensed nursing staff and offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and a fun work environment with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and reporting observations under RN/LPN supervision. Great team culture, with daily pay options and holiday incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
