Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in River Rouge, MI. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and deliver customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Shifts include day and evening hours with a competitive pay rate of $16.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and document activities.
• Complete required reports and maintain activity logs.
